Haus von Vogel Kennels                  German Shepherd Dogs for Companionship and Duty

We are a dog kennel, specializing in German Shepherd Dogs.

There is no more versatile, loving or capable dog than a well trained German Shepherd. We have watched them baby sit children and put themselves between children and danger from vehicles, other animals and strange people. They are naturals at patrolling their territory, protecting other pets, herding / defending livestock, and guarding family.  

We also realize that an untrained, undisciplied, adult dog can be a danger to its owner, the community, and itself. 

Our puppies do not go outdoors, on the ground, until they have had inoculations for safety. They continue to receive inoculations and insect/parasite protection. 

We start our puppies toward becoming good companion and protection dogs, at the earliest age possible, by interacting with and training them. Haus von Vogel puppies have opportunities to develop their ball drive, and playing skills. They take car trips and visit public parks and pet supply stores to meet people and encounter new situations.
